POWER OF ATTORNEY (POA)
A written authorization to represent or act on another’s behalf in business or some other legal matters.
Bangladeshi National living in abroad can use POA as a legal way of managing the property, bank loans, stocks and other tangible property in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh nationals living in Istanbul may approach to the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Istanbul for attestation of PoA.
ATTESTATION OF POA
Power of Attorney (POA) must be prepared in accordance with the rules laid down by the Bangladesh Government in the ‘Power of Attorney Act-2015’.
The information of the executant(s) and recipient(s) in POA must match with that of their passports/NIDs.
The Executant(s) must sign the POA in front of the Consular Officer of the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Istanbul.
Please download, print and sign the POA application form. Please note that in case of more than one executant, only the first executant should fill-in and sign the application form.
